Type: Historical production brewery. Ownership as recorded: HISTORICAL. A 1940 WHS brewery letterhead advertising Empire Beer and Fond du Lac Public Library history support operation into 1940-41, correcting an older property narrative that implied permanent closure in 1919. Main 1871 complex later demolished; a 1922 Bechaud-associated building survives. [Wisconsin Pass 14]
