How to read an answer

Answer Status

YES — Tally has a defensible answer. PARTIALLY — part of the question is answered and something important is still open. NOT YET — there is not enough evidence to establish an answer, and we say so rather than inventing one.

Verification

VERIFIED — reviewed against sufficient evidence. CONFLICTED — credible sources disagree and we have not resolved it. UNVERIFIED — a candidate answer awaiting evidence review. STALE — previously verified, now due a recheck.

Evidence

Every answer lists what it is based on and what each source actually proves. Grades run A (primary, official, direct) to D (weak or discovery). They are assigned by review — a trustworthy newspaper is still secondary evidence.

Research gaps

An open question is a finding, not a failure. These are the gaps the pilot answers record as unresolved.

• molson-brewery: The intermediate holding entities between the Montreal brewery and Molson Coors Canada Inc. have not been separately established from a registry record.

• labatt-brewing-company: Balkwill's establishment of the brewery is given as 1827-28; the exact year is not resolved. The month of Labatt's 1847 investment is not established either.
• big-rock-brewery: VN Capital's current percentage after the January 2025 private placement and debt settlement has not been established; the release named participating shareholders but disclosed no percentages. A current management information circular would settle it.
