Tally's Beer UniverseThe Brewery Archive

Welcome toTally's Archive

A living treasure chest of beer history

Imagine a giant treasure chest. But instead of gold coins, it is filled with beer history — old brewery stories, bottles, cans, labels, photos, maps, ads, recipes, awards, buildings and memories. That is Tally's Archive.

  • Not a dusty warehouse

An archive is not a room where old things go to sleep. It is alive. Tally and Pixie search for new pieces of brewing history, check what is true, connect people and places, and fix mistakes in the open.

  • Three things at once

A collection of brewing history, a place to explore it, and a research project actively preserving and connecting it. Part museum, part library, part detective agency, part global beer-history map.

  • Everyday things matter

Bottles, cans, coasters, photographs, menus, adverts, brewing notes, old buildings, clippings, letters. Small objects connect to breweries, people, places and events — and are often the only surviving proof.

  • Mind the gaps

No archive knows everything. Records are lost, breweries left little evidence, people were overlooked. When we cannot prove something we say UNKNOWN rather than invent an answer. A gap is a research question, not a failure.

  • The adventure continues

One brewery connects to a beer, a founder, a company, a building, a town, an object, an institution, a story. Every discovery makes another connection. We preserve not just the famous history but the small pieces that would otherwise disappear.

Because every bottle has a story.
