Tally’s Take
Sixty years in a mountain town, straight through Prohibition. SFU dates Enterprise Brewery Ltd. From 1897 to 1957 — by a wide margin the longest continuous brewing operation in the British Columbia interior recorded here, outlasting every Kootenay rival and most coastal ones too. And almost nothing else about it survives in this archive, which is its own small injustice: six decades of brewing, reduced to a single line of dates.
