"established by a group of locals who wanted to breathe new life into an old building that had housed, at various times, a farm equipment dealership, a gas station and a service centre" — Don Paré and three partners (Don, Chris, Cal and Al on the brewery's own page), with the consultant brewer David Beardsol (or Beardsell — spellings differ) as a partner; "Ribstone Creek Brewery began full-scale beer production in Edgerton in the fall of 2012". Beers: Old Man Winter, Great White Combine, Bachelor Blonde.
- 2022Edgerton stops brewing
Production ceased in November 2022 (Meridian Source) or December 2022 (the brewery's own account).
- 20234th Meridian buys the brands
In January 2023 4th Meridian Brewing of Lloydminster (Brad and Helen Hoffman, since 2016) bought "all Ribstone Creek assets, brands and recipes" — "When we heard they were down a brewer and eventually looking to close, we thought we could figure something out and find a way to keep them going." The beers are brewed at 4th Meridian's own plant; no separate Lloydminster Ribstone brewery was found. On 24 September 2026 4th Meridian told this archive its Ribstone Creek base malt is Rahr (Alix) and Bachelor Blonde's is 3D Malt.
