Type: Detailed Zürich brewery history traces the Strohhof brewery from Jakob Meyer in 1801 through Rudolf Zolliker and Heinrich Hotz. Hotz requested deletion of the firm from the commercial record on 31 December 1857; the exact final brew date is not established. Status: CLOSED — Historical brewery / exact last brew unknown. MEYER → ZOLLIKER → HOTZ Do not equate the 1857 request to strike the firm with a proven exact final brewing date.
