What we have established

Type: The Linde property is documented as a brewery by 1865, initially for house use. Johannes Fleisch acquired the business in 1884 and built a new brewery at Badenerstrasse. The brewery properties were transferred in 1903 to Löwenbräu Dietikon AG, in which Fleisch remained financially involved. After the deaths of technical director Fritz Schefold and board president Dr. E. Guhl in 1921, Löwenbräu Zürich took over the operation; production ended in 1924. Status: CLOSED — Production ended 1924. Linden house brewery → Johannes fleisch → LÖWENBRÄU DIETIKON AG → LÖWENBRÄU ZÜRICH Production closure in 1924 is kept separate from 1925 sale/reuse of the brewery property by the Cattaneo brothers.
