Frederick's Prince Edward Island Directory for 1889-90 (PRIMARY): "About a mile from Charlottetown is the Brighton Brewery, an establishment of long standing. Messrs Morris & Hyndman, proprietors. A speciality is made of light beers of excellent quality." The street directory lists Chas. A. Hyndman "of Morris & Hyndman" and C. West Hyndman, "manager brewery", both at Brighton; the trades list gives two brewers on the Island, "Morris & Hyndman, Brighton" and "Byrne Bros., Spring Park".

Named as "Morris and Hyndman's Brewery" among the breweries the English syndicate amalgamated in 1895 (Oland Brewery's history) — the "one in Charlottetown" of the Dictionary of Canadian Biography's account. In 1901 George W. C. Oland "moved to Prince Edward Island to run the Halifax Breweries plant there", returning to Halifax by 1904. The end: UNKNOWN.
