Type: Historical production brewery. Ownership as recorded: HISTORICAL. Peter leased the brewery in 1868 and purchased the business in 1880. Maria carried the business after Peter's death until incorporation in 1890. The 2005–2009 revival is modeled separately as brand/company activity, not a reopened Madison brewery. [Wisconsin Pass 12]
