From the record
What we have established
Status: HISTORICAL. Warren and Francis revived local brewing in March 1865. After the partnership split, Francis continued Hawaiian Brewery in Nuʻuanu Valley and offered it for sale in Dec. 1865. Final disposition remains unknown; lifecycle therefore UNCONFIRMED rather than an invented closure year. [Hawaii Pass 21]
The People
Behind the beer
Partnered with Willard Francis in Hawaiian Brewery; later advertised Oahu Brewery. Do not infer ownership beyond dated operation evidence.
