What we have established
Status: HISTORICAL. Schmitt identifies this as apparently Hawaiʻi's earliest commercial brewery, advertised on Fort Street opposite the French Hotel from April 1854. Final ads Dec. 1856-Jan. 1857 offered the brewery for sale. Preserve as a distinct historical brewery/company operation; do not equate with later Honolulu Brewing & Malting. [Hawaii Pass 21]
