Regional history identifies British immigrant Thomas Austin as co-founder of Lennoxville Brewery in 1837.
Regional history identifies British immigrant George Slack as co-founder of Lennoxville Brewery in 1837.
Purchased the Lennoxville brewery property at sheriff's sale in October 1843 and sold Lennoxville Beer throughout the region for the next 15 years; sold the brewery to George B. Capel in 1858.
Bought Lennoxville Brewery from G. Weston in 1858 and partnered with Robert Atto to run the business. Exact brewery disposition when Capel later left Canada is unresolved.
Partnered with George B. Capel after Capel purchased the brewery in 1858; their advertisement promised a constant supply of ale and beer.
