What we have established
University of Patras' Diogeneia collection documents the family brewing origin in Patras in 1876, the industrial Mamos & Co. Brewery/iceworks venture planned in 1907, founded/built in 1908 and inaugurated in November 1909. After multiple ownership/capital changes and wartime interruption, brewing resumed in 1950 and production was suspended in November 1979 amid intense competition.
