Status: HISTORICAL. National Brewing Company's first brewing was reported Jan. 1888; contemporary advertising located the National Brewery in Kalihi Valley and named Gilbert Waller as manager. It lasted only a few years, but exact termination date is not proven in the source used here. [Hawaii Pass 21]
