The article states the transaction is complete but gives NO transaction date, so the date recorded is 2026-02 and flagged approximate - it happened on or before publication. The original Lead Dog ownership team retains equity and remains actively involved in the direction of the brand, which is why this is a change of control and not a change of everything; the size of the majority and which interests survived are not stated.
