What we have established
Montana Historical Society index identifies 'Ash & Boots at Coulson (1882).' An April 7, 1883 Billings newspaper item reports G. W. Ash selling his interest in the Rocky Mountain brewery to Mr. Boots. Exact closure date remains unresolved as Coulson declined after Billings was platted.
