What we have established

Address: Bakersville / Canal Street area (exact numbered address unresolved). The 1878/79 national brewing survey lists Carney, Lynch & Co. As Manchester's brewery, and an 1889 city directory locates Carney, Lynch & Co.'s brewery in Bakersville near Canal Street. In 1891 True W. Jones, brother of Portsmouth brewer Frank Jones, gained control and renamed the operation True W. Jones Brewing Company. It was Manchester's only brewery by the 1890s and continued until New Hampshire went dry in 1917.
