What we have established
Jacob Van Gundy and Robert Fenner established the Western Brewery in spring 1874. Van Gundy bought Fenner's interest in 1881 and expanded distribution to Butte and Anaconda. Later operators included Miller, Gerstacker & Richards and John Gerstacker; specialist chronology carries the line to 1918.
