Status: CLOSED. Historical Sitka brewery accepted from 1870 census evidence identifying Abraham Cohen as a brewer, DeArmond's separate Cohen/Goese brewery account, and federal post-death reopening correspondence. Alaska Free Press index adds a direct 1890 event: A. Cohen's Sitka brewery was seized for violation of revenue laws. Verified operation therefore extends at least through 1890; Cohen died in 1892.
