Anaheim Brewery's archival history identifies Simon Goldstein and Samuel Davis as establishing Anaheim Brewery in 1870 at 140 West Lincoln Avenue (historically West Center Street), with Goldstein as brewmaster. The same history says Friedrich Conrad became proprietor in 1872 and that the pre-Prohibition lineage ran until National Prohibition in 1920. Calisphere independently captions an historical West Center Street image as showing Anaheim Brewery, established by Goldstein and Davis in 1870. The later Union Brewing Company phase is retained as part of the lineage rather than counted separately pending deeper corporate/site reconciliation.
