Tally's Take

Why this matters

Germany Pass 25. Closed 1977. Founder: UNKNOWN. Status as recorded: CLOSED / HISTORICAL BRAND REVIVED. Historically one of Bamberg's major breweries; brewing at the Bamberg plant ended in 1977. Weyermann acquired the Bamberger Hofbräu trademark in 2006 and now produces revived brand beers in the Weyermann Pilot Brewery; the old brewery itself did not reopen.
