Barrett's Brewpub & Eatery
Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA
Tally's Take
Why this matters
A Tuscaloosa brewpub of the 1990s, and a July 2000 Birmingham News retrospective says it went bankrupt after a couple of years. That one retrospective sentence is the entire record: opening and closing dates, owner, location and beer list are all unresolved. It is the oldest of Tuscaloosa's three breweries here and by far the least documented, which is the usual relationship between the two.
