Status: CLOSED / HISTORICAL. Ownership as recorded: Historical ownership/state-enterprise transitions are partly supported by specialist records; exact ownership at the 1995 production stop and corporate succession require primary archive/register confirmation.. Historical industrial brewery founded in 1880 and converted to an AG in 1891. Specialist historical-securities records place the brewery at Innere Zörbiger Straße 25 with its own maltings, record acquisition of the Uhlemann steam brewery in Delitzsch in 1920, incorporation into the VEB Getränkekombinat Dessau in 1972, reprivatisation after 1990, production cessation in 1995 and later demolition. This historical entity is kept separate from the 2009 Bitterfelder Brauerei GmbH, whose current physical-production status remains unproven. [Germany Pass 79]
