Founder: Matthias Hoch / Brandholz team. Status as recorded: Temporarily closed / site displaced. Small Franconian brewery that revived production at the former Winkler brewery site. Current first-party site still identifies the Melkendorf brewhouse and traditional coolship/open-fermentation methods, while Fränkischer Tag reported a forced pause/closure in January 2026 because redevelopment of the Winkler site required the brewery to move out; future site status was uncertain.
