Brandon's first brewery, and three names for one business: the Manitoba Historical Society documents the 1885 Brandon Brewing Company becoming Spring Brewery after its sale in 1887 and later simply Brandon Brewery, with the partnership ending in 1891. The archive holds it as one lineage with aliases rather than three separate breweries — the alternative would triple the town's apparent brewery count inside six years. Not to be confused with the second, entirely unrelated Brandon Brewing Company that began building in 1902.
