Summary
France's first microbrewery, opened at Morlaix in 1985 as Brasserie des Deux Rivières by Jean-François Malgorn and Christian Blanchard. The pair had trained in England with Peter Austin, whose plant and pupils seeded microbreweries across the world — so the French craft revival begins with an English cask-ale education. Coreff is Breton for beer.
