In 1815 Ezekiel Hart owned a brewery on rue des Fourneaux — today rue Sainte-Élisabeth — near the Commune. It is held separately from the 1797 Hart brothers complex because the local history explicitly identifies it as Ezekiel's own brewery at a different location, and the archive follows the source rather than merging two Hart breweries on the strength of a shared surname. Trois-Rivières carried at least three Hart-associated brewing operations, which for a town of that size is remarkable on its own.
