Type: Canton Zürich records the Aktiengesellschaft Brauerei am Uetliberg in Wiedikon in the 1870s. Zürich brewing histories say Hürlimann acquired/merged with the brewery in 1921 and shut its production facilities in 1923. Status: CLOSED — Merged into HÜRLIMANN 1921; Production ended 1923. HÜRlimann merger/takeover The legal merger in 1921 and production closure in 1923 are separate events.
