Founder: UNKNOWN. Status as recorded: ACTIVE. Current Hallerndorf brewery/inn. Regional beer-history authority says Prince-Bishop Johann Philipp von Dernbach granted Johann Georg Schöner brewing rights in 1679; the brewery later took the Lieberth name through family marriage. Municipality confirms current brewery and two associated Keller operations.
