Beat von Fischer established the brewery for Bavarian postillions; Schloss and brewery passed to Bavarian brewer Joseph Hofweber in 1890. Reichenbach has served as a Rugenbräu depot since 1992.. Status: CLOSED — BREWING ENDED 1971. Ownership as recorded: VON FISCHER → HOFWEBER FAMILY LINEAGE VERIFIED. Castle/property ownership and brewery production lineage are related but not identical; current Rugenbräu depot use is a later site relationship, not continuation of Reichenbach brewing.
