Type: Bern heritage documents brewing at Schloss Reichenbach from 1683 to 1971. Beat von Fischer established the brewery for Bavarian postillions; Schloss and brewery passed to Bavarian brewer Joseph Hofweber in 1890. Reichenbach has served as a Rugenbräu depot since 1992. Status: CLOSED — Brewing ended 1971. VON FISCHER → Hofweber family lineage Castle/property ownership and brewery production lineage are related but not identical; current Rugenbräu depot use is a later site relationship, not continuation of Reichenbach brewing.
