From the record

Summary

Type: City of Zürich records the elaborate Tiefenbrunnen brewery complex as built in 1889/90 and says Hürlimann acquired the brewery in 1913, closed it, and sold the buildings to Müller Wehrli & Koller for conversion into a mill. Zürich brewery histories also report a joint Hürlimann/Uetliberg takeover beginning in 1911, so the acquisition chronology is preserved as a conflict rather than flattened. Status: CLOSED — Brewery shut 1913. Acquisition chronology partial. Physical brewery site later became Mühle Tiefenbrunnen. A 1920 city-archive plan still labels an Aktienbrauerei Genossenschaft Tiefenbrunnen address, so post-closure corporate/property naming requires separate research.
