Summary
California State Library documents Jacob Geiss's California Brewery c.1860. Primary Marysville advertisements show M. Reissinger operating the 'New California Brewery' in 1901-03 and 'California Brewery' by 1904. This supports the New California Brewery name as a later alias/phase under Reissinger, but does not prove uninterrupted corporate continuity from Geiss's 1860 operation.
