Status: CLOSED. American Brewers' Review brewery-change reports derived from U.S. Internal Revenue reporting list Cape Nome Brewing & Trading Co. as new in Aug. 1900 and closed in Feb. 1901. A separate Oct. 1901 newspaper item says Nome's first brewery began operations Oct. 1, creating a real commercial-operation chronology conflict. Cape Nome is preserved as a historical brewery/company record, but exact production, premises and relationship to later Nome Brewery remain PARTIAL. [Alaska Pass 20]
