Federal industry records independently list the Manitoba Carling brewery. Molson and Carling-O'Keefe merged in 1989, creating the next site-operator phase. PROBABLE DUPLICATE 2026-09-24: the Carling / Carling O'Keefe brewery at Winnipeg IS the Redwood Avenue Drewry plant — "In 1957, it became Carling Brewery and later Carling-O'Keefe. Bought by the Molson Brewing Company, it was closed in 1997" (MHS) — already held as carling-brewery-manitoba-carling-o-keefe-redwood-site (TB-CP1SAPVD) and redwood-brewery-drewry-s-brewery. The 1989 end here is the corporate merger; the plant brewed under Molson to 1997. Shea's Osborne Street plant went to Labatt in 1953 and is a different lineage. Not merged here.
