    Canadian Breweries renamed

    "In 1969, Canadian Breweries was acquired by a subsidiary of Rothmans, which renamed the company Carling O'Keefe in 1973." A corporate record: the plants (Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Red Deer's Carling and the rest) are held separately.
