Tally’s Take
Eight years in Nelson, 1897 to 1905, and SFU's dating is the entire record — no brewer, no beers, no cause. What it does establish is that Castle ran alongside the Riesterer line for the whole of its existence, so this small mining city was supporting at least two breweries at once for most of a decade.
