From the record

What we have established

Status: UNCONFIRMED. Pass 13 rules review found conflicting evidence. A 2015 customer review says Chillers no longer brewed its own beer, while Saskatchewan's stronger 2016 government backgrounder subsequently listed Chillers as a licensed microbrewery/brew pub. Pass 17 adds a primary Saskatchewan Gazette record showing cancellation of the registered business name 'Chillers Brew Pub' on July 28, 2017. Pass 19 adds 2025 municipal and 2026 tourism venue continuity, a current BBB owner/management lead (Chuck Cole), and 2005 BeerAdvocate eyewitness evidence that brewing continued then with a reduced program. None is a current manufacturer-permit record; brewing cessation/current manufacture remains UNCONFIRMED. [Canada Pass 26]

Ownership & corporate history

  1. Owned by Chuck Coledate not established

Current evidence supports this, but the record is not fully resolved.

    What the sources say

BBB identifies Chuck Cole as current owner of the surviving Chillers pub. Do not infer he owned the brewery program when brewing ceased or held the historical manufacturer permit.

Ownership history is kept as dated events, so a change of owner never overwrites the one before it.

    Site detail

2016 provincial licensed-producer evidence remains authoritative. Pass 17 Gazette evidence records cancellation of the registered business name 'Chillers Brew Pub' on July 28, 2017. That legal-name event is not a manufacturer-permit cancellation, and current venue continuity survives; lifecycle remains UNCONFIRMED.
