Status: Active / house brewery. Current legal operator is H. Frommann KG. Family business history reaches back to 1656, but the current brewery began in 2006 and is kept separate from the older hospitality lineage. Current family-run hotel brewery at Harburger Straße 8. First-party history says the house brewery was inaugurated in August 2006; current brewery page says natural unfiltered beer is still brewed onsite with Weyermann malt and Heide water, followed by a five-week fermentation/maturation process.
