- 1902Frank Hartinger, proprietor
The Evening Sun, 4 February 1902: "F. Hartinger, proprietor of the Columbia brewery" — two beer vats from London, Ontario, at $50 each, carried for $203 in freight; 27 January 1903: "Frank Hartinger, of the Columbia brewery, is harvesting 400 tons of ice from McCallum's slough". (PRIMARY) The same Frank Hartinger who had licensed Greenwood's Elkhorn brewery in December 1898 and left it by October 1899.
- 1904A brick and stone addition
The Evening Sun, 10 June 1904: "Frank Hartinger will build a two-story brick and stone addition to the Columbia brewery during the present summer." The SFU row has the Columbia Brewery 1898-1901 and again 1905-1918; these issues fill its gap.
