Edelweiss / Riedle Brewery

Arnold Riedle's brewery, and one of the cleanest closing dates in the archive — established not by a report but by an address. Federal industry material lists Riedle at 49 Stadacona in 1949; the 1950 brewing-industry list shows Grant's Brewery Limited at exactly the same address. Nobody wrote down that Riedle ended. The paperwork simply changed hands, which is how most brewery endings are actually established. Forty-three years under the Edelweiss and Riedle names.
