Tally's Take
Why this matters
A Bavarian brewery that happens to be in the Alberta foothills — Hefe, Pils, Weizenbock, Radler, and an Alkoholfrei sitting in the core range rather than tacked on as an afterthought. Reinheitsgebot brewing in cattle country, and the German names are not a costume: the founder trained there.
The founding thesisJochen Fahr set out to make beer that tastes like home — German lagers and wheat beers brewed on the Alberta prairie strictly under the 500-year-old Reinheitsgebot.
