PROBABLE DUPLICATE 2026-09-24: the 1898 Fort Steele brewery moved to Fernie in 1900 (fernie-fort-steele-brewing-company-fernie-plant, TB-CWG5V147); no source shows brewing at Fort Steele afterward, and the 1924 end is unsupported (an archival title gives 1898-1920). Not merged here.
