Why this matters
Czech lager and Japanese ingredients in Toronto's east end, which sounds like a gimmick until you see the beer names: Desítka and Tmavý Ležák are Czech pub measures, Kakkō and Kawasemi are birds, and Ochame is a green tea IPA. Luc Lafontaine left Dieu du Ciel to brew in Japan before opening here, and the lineup is that journey written down.
