What we have established
Status: CLOSED. Golden Lion took title to the former Wittemann brewery in 1904. A March 1913 fire forced rebuilding across River Street. Local prohibition ended brewing on 1916-12-30; the historical account separately says the company folded in June 1916, so corporate-vs-operating dates are preserved rather than collapsed.
