Status: ACTIVE. Ownership as recorded: Carlsberg Group acquired a majority shareholding in Holsten-Brauerei AG in 2004. Current German operating structure is Carlsberg Deutschland; parent group is Carlsberg Group.. Current Carlsberg Deutschland production brewery. Holsten was founded in Altona in 1879 and moved production to the new Hamburg-Hausbruch brewery in November 2019. Current Carlsberg site says Hamburg-Hausbruch is one of its three German production locations. [Germany Pass 79]
