Exact closing year, parcel and later owners remain UNKNOWN. Licence class: Historical production brewery. Tompkins County. Owner as recorded: C. W. E. Prescott; O. H. Gregory and Wait T. Huntington (from 1826); later owners UNKNOWN. Acquisition history: Built by C. W. E. Prescott in 1823; passed in 1826 to O. H. Gregory and Wait T. Huntington, then later through various ownerships. Exact legal succession remains held. Relocation: Original brewery stood on the east side of Six Mile Creek below Clinton Street. The brewery building survived after operations ceased and burned in 1878. Status as recorded: Closed - historical.
