A Plea for Building Up a New Home Industry" from "The Consumers' Brewing and Ice Manufacturing Co." — "What the Pabst Brewery is to Milwaukee, the Kaslo Brewery Co. may be to Kaslo" — signed by R. E. A. Mueller, manager of the Kaslo Brewing Company. The 1899 Williams' directory lists "Kaslo— Kaslo Brewing Co."
- 1902Goodenough, Band and the proprietors
The Paystreak, 15 February 1902: Kaslo's "Mayor Goodenough was until recently interested with Mr. Band in the Kaslo brewery"; Lardeau Eagle, 5 September 1902: "one of the proprietors of the Kaslo brewery, was in Ferguson yesterday. Their ad. will be found on another page."
- 1903Mueller's estate offers the brewery — 'the only brewery in the neighborhood'
Nelson Daily News, 5 September 1903: tenders to 15 September 1903 for "the property known as the 'Kaslo Brewery,' situate on part of block ten in addition No. 1 to the City of Kaslo. The brewery is equipped with a modern plant of a capacity of sixty barrels per week, and storage capacity of 250 barrels, and is the only brewery in the neighborhood" — so it stood, and was probably still working, a year after the SFU row's 1902 end. Who bought it and when it closed: UNKNOWN.
