CHECKED 2026-09-24: the building that survives in Barkerville Historic Town is "the Kerr & Son's Phoenix Brewery" (BC Ale Trail) — one business, so kerr-s-brewery (TB-A9FEH092) and phoenix-brewery-barkerville (TB-Y9CGKZN4) are PROBABLY ONE BREWERY, perhaps renamed after the fire of 16 September 1868; no source states the transition. Not the Phoenix Brewery of Victoria. Not merged here.
