PROBABLE DUPLICATE 2026-09-24: the Manitoba Historical Society dates the St. Joseph Street brewery's renaming to Kiewel Pelissier's Breweries to 1969 under Labatt and its closure to August 1976 — held with the full chain on kiewel-brewing-company-kiewel-pelissier-s-breweries (TB-4M1SYJ2Z). This record's 1971 amalgamation and 1977 end come from an archaeological report; both kept. Not merged here.
