The physical site was sold in 2023 to Lüder Kastens for a future Union-linked redevelopment; site ownership is kept separate from brewery ownership. The former grain-store building at Van-Ronzelen-Straße 18 was converted in 1994 into the Koggenbräu experience brewery; three large copper kettles were used for brewing. Official Bremerhaven development records show the former brewery building had been purchased by the public development company by 2004. A new Union-linked experience-brewery project is planned for the site but is not counted as current production.
